Additional Voluntary Contribution (AVC) Choices

Location: About Your Pension -> A V Cs

  1. What Are AVCs?

You can choose to make Additional Voluntary Contributions (AVCs) in addition to your normal contributions to the Plan. These (tax deductible) payments are invested in funds you choose from a list pre-selected by the Trustee. When you retire, your AVC fund is used to provide additional benefits over and above your main Plan entitlement.
